i have a female that weighs 50 grams and a male that weighs 80 grams.... would it be ok to breed them?

should be ok as long as she is ovulating. if she isnt ovulating then she wont want to breed. He will want to (like all men:main_laugh:) but she wont. then there might be some fighting and you might stress the girl out. if she is ovulating you can put the male in and just watch them for alittle bit and make sure no one gets hurt. The male should kinda sniff around and vibrate his tail. usualy he will kinda drag himself around as well trying to "mark" the cage saying it his and that he is there. with a male that big he should "know what he is doing". some males are very aggressive breeders and will mount the female soon after being in the cage some males you will have to leave them alone for awhile and just let it happen. small males are hard on the females as well i have seen geckos loose tails because the male is just too rough but i have also seen males that you would swear never touched the girl.

if she is being receptive to the male you can leave him in there anywhere from over night to a week (different breeders will tell you different things) if breeding dose take place you should see eggs in any where from 10-20 days.
