Hey all,
Quick question, I have been incubating an egg for 66 days and counting, there was originally two but one of them collapsed but the other one still looks great so just wondering if indeed the egg is infertile or "bad" will it collapse like the other one or go mouldy as I have heard they will.

66 days is a long time! Have you tried candling them too see if they are fertile? Sometimes eggs will collapse if there isn't enough humidity in the egg container. Most of the time eggs mold if they are not fertile, but I still hear some people hatch eggs with slight mold.

I didnt want to pick at it to much, there is no mold on the egg at all, nice and white with no dents. I will try to candle it and see what I can see.

What temp are you incubating these eggs at? 66 days is a pretty long time. Last year I incubated at 81-82* and everything hatched no more then 50-52 days.
