Custom tank

I am getting a rack with custom tanks built in, made for me soon and what I would like to know is would a 20in long by 18in deep by 12in high be too small for two females? Or should I just leave the design at 40 inches long and keep 4 or 5?

That's the length of a 10 gallon and almost twice as deep, should be doable.

I'd make sure to use space efficiently and make sure the individual geckos in question get along.
