Custom Viv in progress

Started working on this today, still need to start applying the grout. The heat pad is currently going to be under the slanted "rock" to the left as there is a cave under there. Suggestions?
Using white sanded grout, will be coloring it a brownish I think.

the heat pad under the cave is a nice touch... I like it. What kind of heat pad are you using? what you can do is find a tile that fits your colour scheme nicely, and "carve out" a shallow pit that the heat pad can be hidden by the tile. remember to make it deep enough that when you grout and seal it, the pad sits under the tile, but is still level with the rest of the "rock".this way you can run the cord up the seam of the tank...

Looks awesome!! I would do something like that in a heartbeat if I was talented enough haha. The only think I would regret is the cleaning with moving everything around but that will be really cool when its done!

The cleaning shouldn't be too bad, every section is a different piece(left rock, stairs, right rock, right hide). The worst part is just covering everything in multiple coats of grout, then painting, then sealing. Time consuming!
