Dark Skin

For the last week or so, my gecko's skin has gotten darker. I can't be sure if she's shed in that time because I haven't seen it. She's still eating and pooping like usual. Any idea what couls be causing such dark skin?

The first photo is her now, and the second one is how bright she usually is.

No, she's actually much bigger in the first photo (taken today) than she is in the second photo (taken in August). I think it's just because of the angle of the photo, and the fact that she's not in my hand.

Have the temperatures in her enclosure changed at all?

It's usually at 92. But with the temperatures slowly getting colder, it has steadily dropped to 85. And the rheostat can't get it higher.

I have thermostats in the mail that I should be getting next week sometime.

Lower temperatures can cause a color change like that. She should brighten up again after you get the temp adjusted. :)

I'll update once I get my thermostat and hook it up! :) I'm hoping this is the case as she looks so ill (in color only). She is in her hide more, but still eats and poops! And I hear her still tooling around her cage at night.
