I noticed about an hour ago that my buckskin crested gecko has a dark spot on his nose that wasn't there before. Not sure what this could be. Please let me know of you've had this and what it is!
I've never had anything like that happen however I have a few theories as to what it is: It could be where he bumped his nose on the side of the cage, mine occasionally does this when he darts at a cricket. Another possibility is that it could simply be where his skin is different colored. How soon did he shed? A lot of times geckos skin will change tones after sheds. Keep in mind that their skin does change colors when they are "fired up" perhaps he was beginning to become fire up? Hope everything is okay!
