while I have the camera out, figured I'd take a picture of "Meeps". I'd guess he's about 8-9 months old, about 50-55 grams. He's on a bit of a fast, presently. Seems too interested in girls to eat (we had him in with a couple females, thought he was a girl, too - until he hit that certain threshold of development where it became obvious that he was not!). Now he has his own enclosure and is off food, in protest, I guess. Thanksfully, he seems to be holding weight. Any idea how long these kinds of fasts typically last?

Cute gecko. Food strike varies from gecko to gecko. Sometimes during winter time they'll feed less, sometimes going off feed completely. During the breeding season, the male will also often go off feed once they get a taste of the female's scent. They get into that breeding mood, and stop eating for 2-3 months or more. I have one currently that haven't eaten in 2 months, all he can think about right now are tails :)
