Day and night temps!?

I've kept all sorts of snakes and bearded dragons before but never a leopard gecko. I'm trying to get everything perfect before I buy a gecko. I bought a day and night thermostat which I set the temps to 32c (89.6f) in the day time and 25c (77f) in the night time. The day temp seems to be stable at 31.9-32.2c (89.42f- 89.96f) I'll have to wait til night time to see the night temps. However, what time should I set the timer for day and night to start and finish? Currently I have daytime as 8am to 8pm. Does it really matter all that much about the times as long as theres a temp drop? Thanks! :D

It doesn't really matter. Leopard geckos don't even require a temp drop at night. My leopard geckos have a warm spot at 90 degrees F 24/7. That's not to say you can't do a temp drop if you want to. 8 am to 8 pm is likely just fine. =)
