I have a 75W Day Blue bulb that came in the kit I purchased and I am curious whether or not this is harmful to my gecko. It really would be used to keep the air temp a little warmer, but I know there has been talk about it hurting their eyes or something so I want to be sure. My all around air temps are roughly 73-74 degrees so it isn't cold, but I thought it would be beneficial to just keep things a bit warmer.
Day bulb ok or not?

If you have an UTH, go down on wattage on the day bulb. Maybe a 25 watt or 40 watt. 75 watt at least in my tank, was a little too hot. Albinos are usually sensitive to light so I wouldn't get a bulb for them. Or instead of getting a whole new bulb, you could get a dimmer from Home Depot or Amazon for $10. Works like a charm
