Any small chameleon gets rather large. Chameleons are loners and are to be kept alone. It adds a lot of stress if they can even see another chameleon. Though I'm not sure about how they'd go with Day Geckos. Maybe someone else can shed light on that one

A chameleon an a gecko are a great idea if you don't mind the gecko ending up as lunch. Or the chameleon, depending on who is bigger.
Rest assured, a chameleon larger than your day gecko will attempt to eat it. And if they are close in size the chameleon will probably be unhappy to share basking spots and food with someone else. They do get stressed with company they don't tolerate.
And to add to this: day gecko's are in general very territorial, even housing several of the same day gecko's can be a challenge, grouping females is also not a guarantee that things will work out.
So, no. if you want a chameleon ur best of getting hem/her he's own terrarium.
this may be late however if anything the only two you could even attempt in my opinion are bearded pygmy's and yellow headed dwarf geckos. they are both small. and are somewhat communal.
