Day/Night Cycle?

Do leos need a day/night cycle? How much of one? Mine are in a room with a window, but it doesn't shed much light into the room so they are in "twilight" after about 11:00 in the morning.

I know they don't like bright lights -- what would you suggest to create a day/night cycle?

They should have a day night cycle. You can either have 12hours/12hours all year round, or you can do 10hour day/14hour night in the winter. I have a similar problem with mine, that after around 2 or so there is very little light. Once it gets fairly dark in the room I turn on a regular lamp. This way there is light, but it is not shining directly onto her and into her eyes.

Thanks -- I've started leaving a lamp on in the room all day. I also put my beardie tanks in the same room -- they can't see the beardies, but their lights will light up the room some during the day.

Sounds like this isn't an issue but I'll metion it anyway--make sure that the sunlight isn't overheating their tanks when they are near a window.

That can be easily fixed by using blinds if they are. My terrarium is right next to a window, but If it's exceptionally sunny I'll shut my venetian blinds.
