Dead Toe?

The end of one of his toes looks dead. It looks kinda of orange/tan. I read somewhere that if he doesn't shed right it might build up and cut off circulation to his toes. So its probably dead and going to fall off?

pics are hard to see but it does look like its missing a few nails. shed issues cause that.

Really hard to see... hm.. but it looks like there is some skin stucked on that toe. The other toes of that foot look to have lost the ends, probably cause of shedding issues as Inland geckos said!

You have to provide a humid hide to help with shedding.
If this is skin on this toe it has to be removed as soon as possible otherwise the end of this toe can die and fall off!

:( i thought his toes were supposed to be like that.. I got that wet mossy stuff in a big coconut for when he needs to shed. Also I think that toe is already dead but its just hanging on.. :(

I doesn't look dead yet. I would put him in a container (with air holes of course) with a warm wet paper towel on the bottom to see if the stuck shed will loosen so it could be removed.

You can soak him in a shallow container with warm water and use the shed aid spray to loosen the skin. We use a q-tip to kind of rub the loose skin down and off after its been soaked. We have one guy that never sheds properly ( he has humidity hides ). He had several missing toes when we got him.

The skin finally came off and his toe looks odd. The nail is kinda long... and the end has like some reddish color like a rung its very small. I hope it just heals.

Don't worry. The blood flow is now restored, so the chance is big that it'll be just ok in a while!
