Dealing With things

Well does your calcium,minerals,gut loading food smell. Well I know why does, but how do you guys deal with it. I breath with my mouth and use my teeth as filters

Ive never had any smell problems with those things?! The only thing I hate is a fresh gecko dookie!

It smelled when I first started using it. I don't even notice it anymore. It's no where near as bad as the smell of the microworms I used to grow for my fish.

i have a leopard gecko dust and i think it kinda smells good. i do notice the calcium smells bad, but its not like its so bad i cant stand it or even care.

i agree, can't say that i've ever really noticed a smell besides from the excrement

Well, the smell is something that comes with the deal. But I don't think it is so bad that I have to breath through my mouth. Feeding animals only smell bad when there some dead crickets or anything and the environment is to wet (ammonia smell), but besides that the fresh poo is the only thing that smells (like stated before).

it smells a little odd but ive dealt with worse before. I tried the leopard gecko dust by t rex and it smells kind of sweet but my gecko doesnt like it too much, she just kind of nose bumps the worms and ill have to clean them off and offer her fresh ones before she will eat. she prefers the reptocal.

i havent had to deal with the fresh poo yet. she only ever poops at night, even tho i feed her around noon every day, and by the time i wake up to check on her its dried and all i have to do is lift it and the paper towel its on out and replace it with clean towels.

I suffer from allergies most of the year so I don't usually smell anything. Now the cricket cage even penatrates my allergy ridden nose!!!!

oh the allergies! i woke up this morning stuffed up and all fluidy. it sucks having this curse. not to mention the fact that during the night the trees decided to drop little pollen bombs on my car and now even my car makes me sick.

i do agree, crickets are smelly, i dont keep them any more.

Well its my first time buying calcium and stuff. Never knowing how it smells but the t-rex calcium smells like moldy banana . The minerals smell like beef jerky with a lot of salt.

I use Rep-cal, the calcium has no smell, but I can smell the herptivite. When the herptivite mixes with water, the smell is even stronger. I can't say it smell very bad, but I don't like it...(so does BuBu, he turns his nose up if I mix his food with herptivite)...
