Okay I have had a Leopard gecko for about 8-9 months, and this is my first one. Ever since winter has started, he hasn't been shedding good or eating hardly at all. And his tail is really skinny. Then I found out that he has Metabolic bone disease, because of calcium deficiency. He can't walk well, and won't eat. I purchased the jump start food replacement stuff but he won't even lick it off his mouth, and when I try to put calcium drops in his mouth, he freaks out, and just starting today, he keeps "yawning" and he keeps rolling on his Back like a barrel roll and there is a dark spot on his stomach but it can't be impaction because he lives on paper towels. I'm very upset and don't know what to do anymore. Any ideas?

Have you provided a humid hide? Hydration and humidity should be good if your leo doesnt eat or sheds properly. The drops probably went for his nostrils that's why he panicked. Is he drinking properly? If so, introduce the calcium drops there. Mixing pedialyte with his drinking water will help, so is bathing him in a pedialyte-water mixture to minimize dehydration

Yes I do! But he can't hold himself up to the water cup because of his MBD. And he can't walk himself into the hide so I have to put him in there

Honestly, with the dark spot on his stomach, I'd be getting him in to see a reptile vet ASAP. He needs more than just at-home care.

From what I understand Impaction can And DOSE happen even if you don't keep your Leo on sand. it can come from eating things like paper towels ( I just read a post recently about a towel eater) or moss But yeah with that Dark spot and the rolling on to his back I would defiantly say that a vet trip is in order. ALSO I MAY be over stepping my bounds here ( kick me back in place if I am :p) but you MIGHT get more indepth help/advice if you post this in the Leopard Gecko sub forum of Health and Medication and make sure you do the questionnaire to help the other viewers to have as much info as possible pics help as well if possible. Please keep us updated and good luck
