Determining Sexes

I am having trouble sexing a few of my leopard geckos. They do not have bulges but do have a white "V" next to their vent. The males that I have all have bulges and a dark "V". Is it common for a female to have a white "V?" Thanks so much for your assistance.

how old are your geckos?

They are about one and a half years old. Not sure on the weight, but about 7 1/2-8 inches long, including a big, thick tail.

Some females you will notice that there is denting in the scales where the pores would be. i have seen this a few times. i have a couple females that are like that.

Yes some females will look like they have the v shaped pores but males are always darker.
