Diablo cross Raptor

I have a few questions about my Diablo blanco pairing to a raptor. I should have 100% raptor hatchlings het for diablo. Now these two girls certainly look like raptors as far as body colour and pattern. But there eyes are more normal looking. Neither have good red eyes or even partials. I was wondering how common it was for raptors to have more normal eyes. All mine have always had good solid eyes or partials in the past.

RAPTOR i am certain of i have proved her out from last year. Its the diablo that has we worried. He has red eyes with tiny bits of partial. I will try and get some photos.

Yeah because if you have a true DB then, you should be producing 100% RAPTORs

Your db could be het or no eclipse gene at all and just expressing eye pigment from the blizzard gene.

I think your diablo is actually a blazing blizzard, remember that some lines of blizzard have eclipse eyes.

The one on the left definitely does not have enough white on the nose to be a Raptor. The one on the right maybe...

Thank you for all your replies. I have had a real good look at these hatchlings and so far they are all APTORS. Oh well, cant win them all.
