DSC02244.JPG DSC02247.JPG DSC02250.JPG DSC02240.JPG I was in petland all the way in some area I usually dont go. I decided to see if there was anything my Diamond could enjoy that she didnt already have. I purchased another plant and a hammock. I wanted to also check out the Leopard Geckos there, they did not have any. I asked when they would get more in, which leads to this strange story.
The gentleman said that they were out but there was another location that had a albino leopard gecko that was unwanted and hasnt been adopted in months. I ran over to the location and found the adult leopard gecko but it wasnt albino. Now I dont know why he said it was albino, because she is far from it, also there is no way he could of known I have and love an albino leopard gecko. So I got there and there she was all alone. Unadopted. I said to myself if she seems sweet I really have to take her! So I held her and took her home in the carrying case I bought just for my leopard gecko. Now I was going to name her Goldie, but I want to change her name. Tonight I will decide. So here are some heart warming first day welcome home photos. By the way I check every few seconds to see how the girls are doing. so far diamond is right next to her and licking her. As you see from the pics she is far from albino. I figured though that I better take her, and that fate set it up for me to take her.

Soo lovely! And such a good story wow! Must have been fate. :) I know this post is old but what's the update!? How are they doing so far?
The story afterward was sad. The staff at the store thought it was female, which I specified I only wanted female. It was male and I had to take him back, months later I got a female from a well known breeder. Nowdays I am almost an expert in regards to determining gender in leopard geckos, that is providing that the Leo is old enough to determine gender.

Awww man, that is too bad! He was really cute! Congrats on the new addition though! Good to be an expert yourself, it's hard to rely on those pet-store people. They are hardly ever experts on reptiles!
