Diary of Maui part 1

Well today im going to start with measurements and when i got him he was

1.5 at 3 weeks (when bought)
1.7 at a month
2.7 at 2 months
3.2 at 3 months

these are all in inches. he was bought from reptimart and they are great people and 100% recommended for anyone to buy anything on there.

We will go over diet tomorrow or the next day so stay tune for his whole life (also will do monthly updates on measurements).

So today i will be dicussing about Maui's diet. He eats one cricket according to size dusted with vitimans and calcium. And every other day i give him baby food(bannana) with calcium mixed with it. I feed him everyday until he is an adult. he eats great and you need to feed them of a nite because they are nocturnal like most geckos. Also I spray the tank with bottled water to drink from the leaves because they dont drink from a dish in a couple days I will just do a photo section of him and if there is anything you want me to cover please tell me and i will do it.

Nice thread! FYI, I have seen Kai drink water out of his water bowl. Only twice, but it does happen, so it wouldn't hurt to provide a water bowl at all times. Also, have you tried feeding Maui Crested Gecko Diet yet? I've heard the earlier you get them started on it, the better.

Well i agree with both things you say but im giving him a protein boost before i start the crested gecko diet. Next i know they will drink from abowl but if you mist your cage enough then they wont have too just saying. Also I dont prefer the bowl because if they walk through is then the stickyness on their feet will be lost until they dry off so i dont like that. And thank you
