Did I hurt her/him??? :'(

So I feel really really bad and im worried.... so Frankenstein crawled up my arm nd on my shoulder to my back I tried to get him or her and I heard a squeaky sound nd so I cuddle with Frankenstein for a little bit. He/she is walking okay and seems fine. What did I do???

What EXACTLY was physically going on at the moment the squeak happened? If there was no physical force (like squeezing or dropping the gecko), then it is hopeful that the squeak was just your gecko barking or growling.

I have heard their "ferocious" barking when they are highly stressed.

I have also heard the faintest "hissing/growling" in between their desparate wiggles/attempts to escape.

She was on my back and I was trying to feel for her I didnt squeze or drop her at all. Just the normal gentle way you feel for your gecko in the cupping motion to hope to get her off my back nd in front of me to see. It was weird she was by my ear nd it freaked me out but then we cuddled and I let her walk around my bed to see how she walks and inspected her since there was red spot anyways

Dont worry alot of mine squeak when i move them or try to look under them, its just them stressing out a little bit

I think they sound a little like a chipmunk when they make their noise.....Ernie does that when we try to pick him up sometimes.
