I recently acquired a slightly used tank from my brother that used it only as a display for 1 gecko at an expo. Yesterday I soaked everything 1/3 the tank and added 1 cup of bleach. Well, it's the next morning now and I just took everything out, washed the tank, and now I'm soaking the entire aquarium with added reptile conditioner. I bought the another food and water dish from the petco. Well the problem is I bought a gray set, and my food dish turned from gray to I guess what looks like a sand color they use for the desert set of food dishes. Is this normal? Should I just go out and buy a new set? Does it make a difference I'm soaking his hide aswell? Is this a defective product? Is this a cheap paint solution that just dissolved?
