Ok I have a 40 gallon breeder that I have split down the middle using plexglass and silicone to hold it in place. I have decided to use tile in this tank and a 20L, my main question in how much sand do you need under the tile? An inch or half inch? I don't want to use to much. I will be adding poster board to the plexiglass to obstruct the view. Then eventually I will make it multi level as they grow, the two that are going in here are just juveniles right now. One of them still has about a month left of quarantine before he moves in.
