DIY cup holder idea

Thinking of making a small holder for my bottle caps I use for gcd. A 1 oz cup for water and for the females a small bottlecap for calcium.

Thinking of using that big tub of air dry modeling clay for kids at walmart and covering it in modpodge. And maybe sand sprinkled on it for grit. Any objections or ideas?

Step one done. Now will take a few days to dry. Then will add more. This one will hold a 2 oz cup for water. A powerade lid for gcd and a water lid for calcium. Or for babies. Will have bugs in big cup. Water in medium and cgd in small. Won't need to seal it or anything. Cause it dries hard and non toxic. Crayola clay. About 5$ for 2.5 lbs.

Ty. I'm not a creative person at all. But this came thru recently. Instead of buying them at 6$+ each I can just make a bug one that will hold the specific things I use myself. And with it drying hard. I won't have to seal it or anything. Which is a plus for me

I like the idea. Bugs in one, water in one, and calcium in another. Very cool. I guess you plan to paint it a little bit after its dry? I thought about doing this same thing but my idea didn't include all 3.

nice

I am obsessive about cleaning everything. Will this hold up to washing, or do you need to put some sort of water sealant on the holder?

Mod podge is working. Dries quick. Hope it is waterproof.

Working on a newer version of the holder. Its nicer. More compact doing it in stages
