DIY drawer unit converted to cage

Hi, i was inspired by the diy project done in this forum, decided to try it for myself as below, it was almost completes before i seal off all the internal corners with silicone. It was converted from Ikea drawer unit with brick wallpaper back ground. Its not the best DIY but serve its general purpose....i hope u like it.

Very neat...just wonder how you do the UTH, because as far as I know you're not suppose to put it on any wood surfaces?

I have my heat tape right on wood. No issues at all.
