DIY leopard gecko background

So, I have been working on a new tank for my two leopard geckos. I have made a background, hides, food, and water bowl out of styrofoam and great stuff. Now I know I have to use grout, but what kind should I be looking for ? Do I need a sealant to make it water proof so I can clean all of it ? If so what is the best kind. Also do I have to worry about the styrofoam and great stuff melting under the UTH or should it be ok ?

I cut Styrofoam bowls down and use them as water bowls. It works fine.

i think LNK89 meant to make the actual bowl then seal it... if u wanted something like that, try buying some of the styrafoam cups cut it to size, wrap wax paper around it, then create the outside with ur foam. when ur done making it look the way you want it to look, pop the styraafoam cup out, and paint the whole thing. let it dry n seal it. now u can just pop in the starafoam cups when u need a new clean one, but u have the same desired look.
