Do Female geckos eat befor they lay

I have been seeing laty. That my females are eating less and look very fat. They are about 5 day that i been seeing this. Does that mean both are going to lay soon. Do geckos eat less just befor they lay there eggs?

My most recent bred female doesn't feat or 5-7 days before laying, the day after she lays a clutch she chows down though!

A sign for me is that she is diggin her moist hide out, and she comes to end of the tub to dig and act like she is trying to escape which she never did before being bred.

My female stopped eating a few days before laying. They will stop eating before laying but the time between the two will vary with each gecko.

ok Thank you guys. I was just getting scared. I wasnt sure if she did it to be last year. But she was a first timer last year. This year she was the first to breed. My other female has never layyed befor. She wouldnt breed for me last year. And both of them are showing signs of eggs soo. Know my female last year that wouldnt breed. Will she one have one egg or will it still be 2. My other female layyed last year. Her first clutch was 2 with one bad one so im not sure anyone know ???

She will most likely lay 2 eggs, and the fertile thing it just varies so far out of 3 clutches this year I have had 1 egg and lost it to mold, so I have 2 hatched and 3 more left cookin.
