Today I got into the gecko room during day, trying not to do any noise so I wouldn't wake the geckos up. One of my girls was with her head out of her hide, eyes closed, seemingly fast asleep. And suddenly she sticks her tongue out, without opening her eyes or moving an inch.
I saw dogs doing involuntary actions during their sleep, like sniffing, barking or moving their legs. But I never saw geckos do that. I wonder if she was dreaming that she was smelling something. It could also be that she detected my smell but was too lazy to do anything else.
Either way, that was unbearably cute
Has somebody seen any other geckos moving during sleep?
