Normally yes in my experience they will. They usually do not stop eating until a few days before actually laying the eggs.

2 of my females did not want anything to do with food this breeding season. in fact that was kind of a clue for me that they were ready to breed. i flipped them over and they were ovulating. A couple days after mating they start chomping down again until a few days before they lay.
