Hey there, I'm new on this forum, and I have two Leopard geckos that I am planning on breeding very soon. Here is my female at 50 grams that I am having problems identifying:

Does anyone know? I think she may be a Tremper Albino, maybe one with just a temperature change...thanks for looking!

Based on picture quality I'm a little reluctant with this call, but I'd "guess" it's a Las Vegas Albino. A clear picture of the eyes would help quite a bit too.

Look at the second picture from the top in this post. Pretty similar, wouldn't you agree?

Based on the two links you provided, I feel very confident with my original call. Las Vegas Albino for sure! :main_thumbsup:

Thanks, the one you provided looks a ton like my Amber! Do you know what would happen if I bred her with a HTCT? Normals and possibly high yellows het albino? So Amber is a Las Vegas Albino...the search has ended =D.

There are several members that are a LOT better at genetics than I am. Other than High Yellows that are heterozygous for Las Vegas Albino, I'm not sure you'd get anything else out of the pairing. But if you were to cross them back, you'd end up with some pure Las Vegas Albinos. I'd say your best move is to make your collection a little larger. Maybe pick up a third gecko that fits a little better with one of the two you already have. Good Luck!

I wouldn't be interested in inbreeding, I heard it can make some problems. Thank you for the help, I really appreciated it! You know, I may just get another Leo, maybe a Blizzard.....but you never know!

Good Point! :main_thumbsup: Someone's been doing a little research. That being said, some breeders still take the chance.

Don't mention it! Best of Luck with whatever choice you make regarding your breeding plans. See you around the boards! :main_yes:
