Is there already a Mack Super Snow Blazing Blizzard? I know this is a goal for me for next season. I was under the impression that they had not been produced yet. Am I right or wrong? :main_rolleyes:

I havent personally seen on myself, but I dont know why no one would have produced any, blazings are the nicest looking blizzards:) I know that co dom blizzard and super blizzards are hard to tell from a normal blizzard, being a BB would make it even harder to tell

Is there a photo of the SSB?

I think the eyes will be different on the SSBB...

Are the Tremper albino Super Snows eyes solid black? Kelli???

yep:) Im hoping to have a snow blizzard hatch from eggs due to hatch around the 20th, so hopefully ill have a pic to post for ya:)

I have an opportunity as well. I hate to count my eggs before they hatch though. My female Mack Snow het Blizzard is on her second clutch from my Blazing Blizzard male.

I also had a clutch from a SS female 66% (poss het) for Tremper Albino also bred by my Blazing Blizzard.

Garrick Demeyer mentioned that the snow blizzards have no yellowing at birth, compared to some yellowing evident when regular blizzards hatch...

Since it's so hard to make Blazings from double hets I'm sure the peoples' priority who have been working on these was to do Mack Snow het BB x BB and then MSBB x MSBB to make SSBBs. I mean that'd be a very tough combo to do with just Mack Snows double het BB. I suspect we'll see them this year from Alex Hue and VMS.

Can't wait to see them...I still picture it as a white gecko with red eyes...

Here is info that Jeff from JMG shared with me.

Blizzards hatch with a lot of yellow ( unless you have some of those
blizzards that are heavily line bred for the whitest appearance )so if
you hatch a pure white blizzard and a yellow blizzard you know you have
a normal blizzard and a snow blizzard. But mark them because in a month
you may not be able to tell them apart. The super snow blizzards look
like a super snow hatchling and they sorta always have that look and
they always have a nice white dorsal stripe down their back along with
solid black eye's, but blizzard snows can have solid black eye's also
so those could get tricky to tell apart.

Tremper SSA`s have red eyes, or dark transluscent red from lower incubation temps. Super Snows have BLACK eyes.

So a SSBB will be different from a SSB, mostly in the eyes, and they should be lighter in color also. I think the Mack BB, are a little different than the SSBB will be, because of the dorsal-striping.:)

I wonder where JMG`s "snake eyed" Super Snow came from. Anyone know?

Hey guys.
Quick question. how common is it for a regular blizzard to have the stripe down the back when young?
I ask because at my local reptile shop (who arnt very nowledgeable morphwise so bargains can be had!) while i was in today i was observing a viv with 4 young blizzards in, probebly 07's but different sizes so maybe not clutchmates. I was looking at two inparticular because they had this white thin stripe down thier back and i have never seen this before on a blizzard. Though they wasnt very pale.

My blizzard has a dorsal stripe, so I would assume it isnt that uncommon. If you have your eyes on them go ahead and buy them up :main_thumbsup:
