I havent handled her much so I havent really noted how she walked until rescent and maybe im seeing wrong but it seems like she walks more "bow legged". Ive kept her mealworms dusted well with the Repashy superfoods leopard gecko clacium plus which from what i read on here was a perfect supplement. I dont use it for my adults but thought I'd try it with my baby. She's not a month yet(on the 3rd she will be) and weighs 11.5 grams today(just weighed her). Maybe I'm thinking the worst coz she's my first baby but its been so long since i had a tiny hatchling(my adults) and know if you catch MBD early it can be reversed. Seeing how bad it can get/be with the rescue I took in some months ago I'd hate to see little Lou-Solo with it. Thanks in advance for takin the time to answer my question:main_thumbsup:
Sorry for the not so great pics, there from my cell =3

I'm not seeing any bowing either...it could just be the whole baby thing... babies tend to have joints that need to solidify/knit, bone density that is a little softer than adults since it is still rapidly growing, etc. If you're dusting with the repashy at every feeding (which for that age/weight should be every day) I highly doubt it is MBD.

I'm trying to get a pic of her when she's laying down, which is what makes me think she maybe have it; she'll lay her arns like my MBD rescued leo does. She'll lay them against her sides, bent. Maybe she's a odd leo and doesnt sprawl out when she sleeps and sleeps like that? She does enjoy sleeping on the thermometers probe.

I have a dish of mealies coated and laying in the repashy superfood calcuim and i dust her dubias with it too since it says every feeding. I'm not so sure with it-if ya cant tell- since its still a newer thing. Lol like i said before maybe over reacting since she's my first little baby-not to mention she hatched on my great great grannys funeral.

Just curious, I'm still reading up on it, but does anyone know if the mom was deprived on calcuim if theres a higher risk of calcuim problems in the babies? I bought her mom off craigslist(along with 2 others) and it was clear the pervious owner didnt care for her the greatest and i cant imagine the female getting the calcuim she needed(the way she licked up all the calcuim in the dish i had for her the day i got her makes me think that) in time. I had no idea she was gravid either or id have dusted her food the week i had her before she popped out Lou-Solo (her full names Lousille Solotastic).

Get a better cleaner and closer pic of the legs. The back legs do look like they may have the beginning of MBD, but it could just be the angle of the pics that make it look that way.

I'll get a few better pics in a bit once the camera batteries charge. The mom doesnt have MBD persay as in she doesnt look or walk like she would/does. If she did when i got her it had to be corrected but I'll take on of mom too just to be sure. She does walk odd but I think thats more because she's missing her front toes=-=Yeah pervious owner didnt care for her well to say the least. If you seen my older post when I got them you'd see i thought they were dwarfs being so small(she's like 7 inchs at best and nearing 2 years) I cant say 100% if she was deprived of calcuim during her breeding previously but they way she licked up that calcuim REALLY makes me think so(that and how shady the guy was about everything...)

She does eat out of the dish(i cant keep it full enough for her!) and eats well! She will wait after the lights go out for me to give her the dubias over the mealies(she doesnt care for crickets much) so if she does have early signs I can swap out the Repashy stuff on the mealies and supplement her the way i did my babies(when they were babies lol) on dubias.

in reply to sleeping thing. Some of my leo's without MBD sleep with legs bent by ther side instead of sprawled out, its just a different way for them to sleep/rest.

Finally got a decent camera:D went and bought one lol as a christmas presant;D Now tho i know she doesnt have MBD and is just a odd ball and sleeps differently then a normal gecko but he's the pics none the lessXD I dunno why but she enjoys sleeping on her thrometer prob(moved it around to prove it). Please note with the pics she wouldnt hold still so i had to keep pushing her back which is why she's lying weird. Also sorry for the crappy washed out pics I didnt know how to stop the flash. She's got nice green hues normally plus she's gonna shed soon.
