Lately i have been hearing some weird chirping sounds like a squirrel chattering coming from my leopard gecko terrarium and suspected it to be my male. Sure enough, i caught him in the act today. While me female was sleeping in her hide, he made the "chirp" while looking at her, arched his back, and raised his tail. His eyes were in the expression when he is eager, like when i feed him. The female just kept on sleeping and he eventually walked away. Is he trying to copulate with her? I think my female is already gravid and i want her first clutch of the season to be fertile! (I have seen them copulate before 1-2 years back so I know they are both capable)
