Does your gecko do this?

Dexter keeps pushing the cage furniture around his enclosure. I like to leave random stuff in there, like bobbleheads, pens, ring boxes and those giant marbles that are as big as ur fist so that he won't get bored when I'm not around. But he is constantly rearranging his "furniture". Is this normal? Also, since I eventually need these items back, I remove them from the cage occasionally, and it seems to bother him. Is it just my imagination, or what?

Any thoughts at all are appreciated.

All of those things can easily be moved by a gecko so maybe its just he walks around and it moves them. Reptiles dont play, so it doesnt need that stuff but when you take it out im sure it knows its habitat is different and thats what you may think is him being bothered.

As soon as I clean my gecko tries to squeeze into any small gap in between the glass and the hide--completely trashes the place, especially around her 'poo corner'. After that she settles and couldn't care less, so I'm thinking she is somehow aware of her scent. Either that or maybe she's a dude.

My male tends to push things around and pop the lid off of the humid hide. Almost nightly.

I have one that always shifts the hides away from the wall when the tank is cleaned.

Yeah we have quite a few movers. Our giant male likes to move his humidity hide out of the rocks it sets under and puch it across the enclosure.
