Does some of your leos refuse to eat mealworms? i was just wondering because mine doesnt really seem to take interest in mealworms. he loves crickets, but maybe because he's still only a few weeks old and is quite playful. sometimes he will eat a waxworm, but its rare if he does. i was just wondering if any of your leos are as picky as mine. :main_rolleyes:

My geckos have their own preferences; some will only eat roaches, and some will only eat superworms...the most extreme case, Whitie will ONLY eat freshly shedded roach this year!

I have several Leos that simply refuse to eat any Mealworms ever. I suspect the breeders I got them from only feed mealworms and now that they have had a variety of food, they won't go back to mealies.

We have 3 feeders crickets, mealies, and supers. Why? Because some will only eat one of the 3, and some will eat anything that moves.

i have one juvie that is now a little over a month old and he will only eat crickets unless i rip the the heads off the mealies and hand feed him but even then he will only eat acouple that way. out of twelve leopards he is the only one that wont touch them. i keep them in there all the time just in case he changes his mind. but boy he loves his crickets. does anyone have any tips to get him to eat the mealies?

All of mine LOVE mealies. All will eat butters as a treat. Few will eat supers. Only one I am having a hard time getting use to eating mealies or anything else but crickets. Which bugs me because I hate feeding things other then worms. However I think that's because I got her as she was "older" and the supplier fed only crickets :(

I have two females that will eat both mealies and crickets, but a adult male that wants NOTHING to do with mealies. Completely turns up his nose at them. I plan on trying dubias when I can get ahold of them.

I think his eyesight is off tho and that the crix move to fast for him lol takes him and hour to eat his mealies from the dish sometimes longer :p I wanna get roaches
