I have 2 laying females. One female has laid 6 eggs, the other 4. The blizzard that laid six, her eggs keep molding and withering. The other who laid 4, her eggs do not ever "toughen" up they stay thin and wither up shortly. I had 2 "good eggs" I thought, Both from my blazing blizzard, One got mold and shrivled the same day. I put some anti fungal creme on it, but didnt know what else to do. The other "good" egg when candles is yellow instead of pink, but has been tough, kept its shape, and not molded for 4 weeks now.

Im using hatchrite, With a herpstat. I have vent holes in the lil containers...and I keep the temp around 82. Any ideas or advice. I really want success at this but am failing badly!

It sounds like the eggs are infertile. Most infertile eggs seem to start molding within a few weeks, but I've had a few last nearly two months. They usually don't look white though - most of them will look yellowish and/or almost translucent.

How old is the male? The females are obviously old enough to produce eggs, therefore, I would try to put him or another male with the females again and give them another chance to successfully copulate while the fmelaes are still producing eggs.... you don't want them to keep laying infertiles and waste those eggs if you can avoid it, because once they start laying eggs, they don't stop until they are ready whether they are laying infertiles or fertile eggs.
