Don't come crying to me...

As the regulars know I complain about my neighbors from time to time. They're nice people but we just don't see eye to eye on certain things especially on how animals should be treated. Today one of them knocked on my door worried, carrying their dog. I thought something was horribly wrong and in a whinny voice they said, "I think she's pregnant, look at her extended stomach and her swollen nipples. I don't know what to do." I said here's the number to my vet and the number to the ASPCA, Good Bye!

Ugh! You've had the dog for a year or two already and you STILL HAVEN'T fixed her? After I wasted my time, ink and paper to print out ALL the ASPCA FREE SPAY/NEUTER locations for an entire month, and it was something I did on a monthly bases for **** near 6 months! Now you want to come crying to me that you don't have the time and can't afford it if she is? Who told you to NOT fix her when it cost freaking $5 and one day at the ASPCA van. You got the cats fixed after **** near a year but what happened to the dogs?

Also who was the idiot that told you to leave your dog which was in heat with a young male dog that it **** near 2-3times her size? But you have no idea what happened?

Not saying that she's pregnant but why come to me when I'm going to look at you like a ******* anyway. I'm NOT a vet nor do I claim to be so why do you bring me all your pet problems when I have my own, but I don't go complaining to someone else I take care of them either myself or have the vet handle it, why can't they do the same. It's to tiresome to hear about it day in and day out, I have my own issues and don't need theirs.

Some people are just annoying. I need a vacation..

You have my sympathy, those people sound like downright dolts who never learn. It might sound cruel, but you might want to not put as much effort into aiding them if they're just going to putz about and still (after what sounds like over a year) not do the right thing. Kind of like those leos in the pet store, you can't "save" all of them and its better to spend your efforts on what you can change.

Can't you just pretend you're not home? And hope they'll pick up the phonebook to call someone else? Best wishes dealing with them and I hope for everyone's sake it is just a pseudopregnancy.
