That was my last hatchling. It was 3 days old in that pic. I have less than a month before my last 6 crested eggs should start popping open, and about 2 months before my gargoyles start hatching.

great! are Gargoyles as bad as everyone makes them out to be? also do gargoyles have the same setup as the cresteds? Like heating and stuff?

I dont use any supplemental lights or heating, i keep them almost exactly the same as i did my cresteds. I don't know why gargs got such a bad reputation, they are calmer and gentler than the cresteds are, in my experience. They do like to pull tails if you keep groups of young together, that is a potential downside.

@jetfire I was getting the gargoyle mixed up with the Tokay Gecko. Those are the ones that have bad raps I guess.

The red one is named "Spike",i got him as a juvie. Everyone who sees him wants him, it's pretty funny. He's fired up in that pic, during the day he's more of a pinkish gray with red blotches.

Welcome! Cresties are a good first gecko as they don't require much special care. I will say be careful about buying one from a pet store; it may not be healthy. Unfortunately a lot of pet stores don't know how to care for the animals they sell...

lol ok so I haven't been here in a while 6 mos to be exact. Well I have made the plunge into cresties I now have 3 females and 3 males. with 3 babies that hatched about 2 weeks ago and I have 3 eggs incubating. My males are all seperated from my females now. Although one female I picked up I believe is gravid from a male Moon Glow ... I have heard allot of conflicting things about moon glows. Anyways I can post pics. Oh and I also picked up 2 Leopard gecko's.
