So two days ago I went to check my eggs and one of my eggs had these lil worms on them. There white with a black head and tiny I almost didn't see them. The baby was still moving around in the egg so I wiped them of and put the egg back. Today I went to check on it and there was a lil tiny hole in the eye. The egg felt very cold and wasn't moving. So I investigated. I opened the hole up just enough to see if the baby was alive and one of those worms feel out. The baby was fully formed and dead. WHAT are these lil demonic worms that killed what would have been my first super snow.

maggots? is there any air holes that small flies couldve gotten through? You could keep one of the worms till they pupate to figure out what they are, and fix your setup accordingly. I am sorry that you lost the baby! Super snows aare one of my favorites! :(

I bet yall are right Indyana that pic looks right. They were small and clear with a black head. I plugged all the vents in my incubator when I set it up it was letting to much humidity out. I will double check it other wise I'm not shur how a fly would have got to them. Unless maybe when I had the lid open or something. Darn that sucks I got got by a fly. Come on now really. That just makes me so mad. The hatch mate to the super snow I lot hatched today with out any prob tho. Thats better news. She is a real looker to.:main_thumbsup: I'll post pic's of her later today. Thanks guys
