Dragon for adoption...

Well I have put about 9 vet trips in on this bearded dragon. I don't know what else to do. He is always sitting on his cool side, is not basking at all, and eating very little. Maybe someone is willing to take him and see if they can turn him around. I for all my efforts only seem to be making the situation worse. He is on Boy... something .05cc every other day about half way done with meds. Not showing much improvement (small mouth gape and always on cool side hiding). His stool is solid. I do have 2 other kinds of lizards in the room (separate cages), and no other cages are having any ill side effects. Here are some pics so you can see for your self. Not eating his morning fruits and veg, eating very little bugs not basking and always cold.

I just don't know what to do anymore.

Is he possible being a goof ball and going into a early brumation?

There is a nice article on bearded dragons in the October issue of reptiles magazine (I just got it yesterday or the day before)

From What I usnderstand (I'm new as well) they just slow down. Stop really eating and pretty much act sick. From what I get they start when they're lights are on for 12 or less hours, try keping the lights on for 14 or so hours and se if that helps for a few days

Is it warm enough to actually house the dragon outside (supervised) for a few days in a rabbit hutch or in a large tub? Maybe some good old fashioned sunshine may improve things?

I live in MA. No way could i house him out side to cold at night and way to humid lately. Wonder if that is it the slowing down thing. We have lights on for about 12 hours. Today he actually was on warm side KIND OF basking. Hes just not eating any roaches. Maybe im just making my self totally paranoid about nothing. Why cant he act like a cat or a dog :main_laugh: !
