Smoke Project (= Dark Four Eyed-Line) update :):
Proven breeder "Smokie" in her darkest stage. Of course no black pearl, as you can still see some yellow colouration and pattern on her.
She changes colouration a little during winter and summer time. Still, I like her alot :nice: .

BTW, this female was used to cross into the Black Velvets some years ago..
But what would make a post more interesting than seeing how her offspring is doing ;)?
So, here comes a quick update on how her kids are doing while growing up. This female called "Akasha" is +30gr now, and already Momma's girl..

And those two, once light yellow and currently alround 15-20gr, are slowly starting to join the dark side ;)

All of the 2013 offspring will continue to darken with age. I will post another update of them once they are fully grown. Honestly I never expected my Four Eyed Line to turn in this direction some years ago.. BTW sorry for the creepy pic quality, as the photos were taken with my iphone.
Anyway, hope you like them :).

So they start off light then turn darker with age?
Most of them do (we hatched the first ones in 2007). Some few do hatch out dark, too.
All of them seem to go through a "lighter stage" and then finally darken (again) when reaching adulthood.

never imagined my paper towel causes greater attention than my geckos, lol. Honestly I don't care so much whats printed there or not as long as the quality of the paper is right for me and the geckos ;-). Anyway nothing to fear ;-) - next papers will be all white again as usual ;-)..
