I just had my first geckos of the season (and ever!!) hatch over the last few days! So I am going to make this thread as a sort of "journal" thread to show off my babies that hatch this year. I'm super excited as this is my first season and the babies are starting to finally hatch for me. [emoji3]

CLUTCH 1A - "Squirt" (named for her tiny stature at hatching) and "Screech" (named for the fact she screeches as soon as she sees me and the closer I come, the more she screeches)

DAD - "Chong" (HTCT ph Tremper)

MOM - "Chima" (SHTCTB ph Tremper)

These babies were incubated at 81F to be TSF.

Thanks everyone! Just a little update on Squirt and Screech for you.

Squirt had her first shed today, and first poo a few days ago. She weighs a whooping 2.1g currently and is about 1.75" in length. I noticed she had some stuck shed on her back toes. Any suggestions for getting it off such a tiny gecko? I've been working a bit on being held and she'll get on my hand but doesn't hold still. I was thinking a bit of a warm soak and hopefully a q-tip will work. Don't want to hurt her.

Screech had her first poo yesterday and shed two days ago. I've worked a bit on holding her and she isn't quit so jumpy and screechy. Still not nearly as calm as Squirt. She is 3.5g and about 2.75" long.

I tried feeding roach nymphs and Screech got 2 of them, but they hid pretty well from the babies. I put 2 of my smaller mealworms in for each gecko tonight dusted with Repashy Calcium Plus.
