Drop temps at night?

I have a Herpstat 4, and it has the capability to drop temps at night. I have always maintained temps at 90-92 24/7 for my Leopard Geckos. Does anyone drop their temps at night? Is it necessary?

I think they are for other reptile owners, like for snake owners.
