I have around 200 or so nymphs of varying sizes and ages, and around 20-30 adults.
From all the reading and research I've been doing I'm getting a 50/50 mix of whether the adults and the nymphs should be separated.
I don't really see a need for it though, especially if you want the colony to sustain itself; the breeders need to be able to replace the losses until I'm basically up to my eyeballs in these guys.
Once I hit a point that there too many for one enclosure I can take a good amount out and then place them into another container and start a second small colony. Then feed off each one in an alternating fashion.
Plus what's going to happen when the adults have offspring? Am I going to be scooping out babes and placing them in the other setup constantly?
I guess I answered my own question but your thoughts area always appreciated..
Thanks ahead of time ! :main_thumbsup:
