We're going to be trying these and hope to start a colony if our crew likes them. After looking at them I realize how big they are, so...
how many do adult leos eat per day?
hatchlings/juvies?
do you try to keep them in a dish or just drop them in the bin?
Thanks.

I'm not sure on dubia roaches, but I feed turkistan roaches. They don't get any or much bigger than crickets, plus, there is less smell and they don't jump. They can easily get out of a bowl, so just put a few in the cage and let the gecko catch them. How many a gecko will eat varies with each gecko, but our geckos tend to eat 4 - 5 a feeding. Our hatchlings only eat one or two a day.

I feed my juvies about 5 nymphs. They can't climb out of dishes with high slick sides, though sometimes they piggie back on the gecko's leg. Just follow the same rule of thumb on size as you do with crickets, 3/4 of the size of your gecko's head. My juvies have been loving them since the mealworm shortage!

I feed the smalls and mediums to the geckos. I put 4-6 in the tub at a time. If they eat them all, I'll add more. I let them eat for about 30-40 minutes and then take them out. Most will eat about 4 a night, but some will eat up to 10.
