The Hotter you have them, the faster they`ll produce. I keep mine at a constant 95 which allows for fluctuation, but since your in Hesperia they will start taking off during Summer ;). I keep mine at average house hold humidity, usually spraying them once a week if I start to notice bad molts.

Nigel is correct, the warmer your dubia colony is kept at, the faster they grow and the better the production (assuming that food/water are provided).

I keep my colonies in various sized plastic tubs like a gecko rack system that is heated from underneath or behind. I've never had any issues with humidity, but if they look "dusty" or are having issues molting, you can spray them with water to raise the humidity. My colonies have also endured short periods of very high temperatures (110F+) without ill effects. A good sized female with the proper setup will produce on average about 20 live offspring per month. Some produce less, others more- but the range is anywhere from 15-25 in my experience.

Check out the feeder classified sections for vendors who sell dubia roaches. Always ask for references or check their trader ratings! Good luck
