Has anyone fed Dubia roaches to their leopard geckos? I've always avoided mealworms because the have a poor protein - calcium ratio. I do feed crickets and superworms, with wax worms for treats. What is your best diet recommendations??

I've used dubia for bearded dragons before but not for geckos...
I'm thinking there may be an issue with them digesting the harder shell of the roach. I could very well be wrong though...
Any experts care to chime in...?

We have fed dubias to our leos when we ran out of crickets. Same rules as crickets, as far as the recommended size. Dust them with calcium too. I have found that our leos like the crickets the best, because they jump around, where the roaches just crawl and sometimes just sit there. We don't do mealworms or anything else, just dusted crickets.
