Well at least one of our geckos is happy to have some dubia roaches. i have an extra empty 10 gallon tank with a ceramic tile floor. We put Ecko in there then I dropped in a roach. At first she wasn't to interested, but once she was in there for a minute she started to hunt it and ate it right down. So I decided to drop another one in, this one she went after right away.....it got down in a crack so I was trying to get it out for her and Ecko kept striking trying to get it. I think she definitely likes the roaches. As for our other 2 girls, they are still to skiddish to handle (only had them for 2 weeks) so we aren't able to put them into my "feeder tank". I don't dare drop them into their tank as it's an elaborate setup with many places for the little roaches to hide.

Also wanted to give kudos to gotdubias.com as I ordered my roaches from them, they came quickly, packaged well, and with a modest over count. Although I do think I got some that are bigger than advertised but that's ok I'll use them to start a colony.

I was pretty happy myself with dubias. Recently got a colony from Ian @ TheRoachRanch and most of my geckos seem to love it. Hoping my colony starts producing so I can use them as a staple food source. My gravid female has been putting on some good weight since started on dubias. For those thinking about dubias, they're awesome, highly recommended!

Agreed, I've been using Dubias and they seem like great feeders. Easy to breed and easy to keep! They are fat and juicy and the geckos love them :)

I feed dubias as a staple for my beardie and gecko - I made a custom roach feeder out of a small plastic deli cup (the kind you get potato salad in) sunken into a faux rock. The roaches can't get out, and my animals can lean down and feast. I tried just the deli cup at first, but my dummies would just strike at the sides of the cup and get frustrated.
