I have had my dubias for a month or so now. I have quite a few adutls (both sexes). Last night when I when to check on them (yea, checking on roaches, lol) I noticed that one of the adult females had a white almost, rod-like object sticking out her vent (if that is the term for insects?) I assumed it meant she was givinbg birth. Today, I looked in and there are no babies, and no females have the white 'rod'. Any ideas? I remeber talking to Nigel about something like this, maybe letting the babies breath or something... but I completly forget. So do I have a pregnant roach? Thanks!

yes. it is there egg case they for what ever reason will extend it from their body and retract it back in. you should have some small nymphs with in the next day or two.
