Hey guys,
So I'm planning on going with dubia roach feeders instead of nasty crickets for my little leo. He's about 5 inches (a little under 2 months) so I was hoping someone could shed some light on this topic. I've done quite a bit of searching through the forums but most of the posts seem to relate to breeding, which I am not interested in at this time (though it's ok if they do).
First, what would be the right size? Most of the breeder site's I've seen either sell them too small (1/4) or too big (7/8).
Second, what are some good roach sellers? I know of the roach guy but he only sells a variety pack of 1/2 or small to sub adults. Seems like this is mostly for breeding.
Third, what is a good setup and location to keep these things if I don't tend on breeding? I live in a pretty small condo with a garage so I was wondering if I could keep them in the garage or above the washer/dryer in some cabinets; however, the cabinets are not too tall so I would need a flatter container. Also, I'm in Southern California.
Thanks!
