dwarf red tail???

So I've had this red tail for about a year I got him/her for a little pet shop I have no idea bcc, bci but it eat's like a champ every week it eat's a rat pup and it dos'nt grow I don't know where it puts it all. so my question is there a such thing as a dwarf red tail or mabye a midgit? it's about 2 1/2 almost 3 feet !

Was it a baby when you got it? 2.5' - 3' at a year seems like an ok length.

I have a buddy that breed's them and I got another red tail from him after I got the midgit and he's a LOT bigger and all freinds think he's very small. I'm not a novince to reptiles I know how big it's supose to be and it should be bigger than it is. I was thinking maby it was'nt a baby when I got it was never fed well, we plan to breed it as soon as I get around to sexing it. I'll know for sure what's up with it then.

it was about 2 ft when I got it and 6-12in. in a year? that's not normal.

Acctually that sounds pretty normal for a male. Sounds like its right on, if it bothers you try feeding a larger prey item. Or maybe feed a little more often, I feed my snakes every 5 days until about 18-24 months. If the snake eats well, is kept well, and is otherwise healthy then it's nothing to worry about.
