Dying your hair?

Has anyone here dyed their hair a color like red or blue? I personally have only had blue.

My hair was green with black streaks up until a week ago....It washes out. Still have a tint of green there. I dye my hair all the time. I like change. this was the first time I did anything really wacky and I'm pretty sure It will be the last lol.

I had blue for six months and im talking solid blue. later i finally bleached it out and went blonde now it looks more like highlights. I just don't like my natural hair color.:disguise:

When I died my hair "green" It was suposed to come out like a metallic blue. But I got green. There were some streaks that came out a pretty blue though. I was not too happy with the way it looked. lol

To be quite honest, I've always been afraid to dye my hair. I've heard that once you dye it, it's hard to get back to your natural color. And my roommate was addicted to it, though from that addiction I've become quite adept at dying others' hair.

Yes it is hard to get back to your natural color unless you let it grow out. Sometimes you can get it close enough so that it's not noticable when your natural color starts comming in. My natural color is brown with a gold tone to it. There are a lot of dies that color so It's pretty easy for me to fake it if I want to go awhile without dieing my hair.

I have dyed my hair every color and then some [minus green] Usually I stick to white, black or red. but ive done blue, flames [red/orange/yellow], leopard print, white with pink tips, red with black tips, etc. I dont really have pictures of most of them. I am in school to become a colorist as well. Ill try and dig up a few tho.

Before I got gimped I use to skate and was into punk... So yeah, I've dyed my hair every color of the rainbow and then some. One time I mixed peroxide, bleach and baking soda to lighten my hair before dying it... That was painful...

hahah, you only need 1 activator silly. when I went white, I would bleach my hair 3x in a weekend, each time with 40 weight devoloper. that was fun. And probably why I am such a ditz now.

LOL! I think all the dying did something to my hair... At 24 I'm already getting lots of grey hair...
